I believe that the end of the Mayan calender is the global shift when the spirits walk freely amongst us all and we can communicate with them in ways that even we cannot yet comprehend.
And that the wealth of any nation will no longer be judged by which country has the strongest economy or the most wanted resources such as oil and other limited supplies. The wealth will be determined by the creativity and the ability of humankind to live in harmony and sustainability with the planet.

And that will mean that all living life forms will be treated with respect and love. Animals will not be bred in masses for food. We will find new ways of sustaining health entirely by natural means and a hunger for food will no longer be an issue. We will know that food is in abundance because we have stopped poisoning,manipulating,stashing or over consuming it.
Global movement and cultural reforms will ensue and racism,anger and greed will no longer exist. People will be sharing and caring to survive and fulfilment will occur by feeling respected, needed and loved.

We will know the real meaning of giving and receiving. There will be no more hand outs... yet a loving and supportive hand up will be the norm.
Countries will learn to blend thier realities... sharing new skills and creative ideas for the greater good of all.

We will know that wealth of money will not help us achieve our hearts desire... and that is to understand why we are here ... the very reason for our existance.

Money will always exist but in what form we have yet to realise. An exchange of skills and creativity will take precedence over the money. We will be caring for our elderly and infirm as we did in the past. We will be more responsible and accountable. We will be more understanding and have compassion and empathy will all or fellow men.

We will have a truly sustainable planet.

I found a wonderful article here which is very long but the final summary is this....

"Conscious evolution involves humanity making informed 'choices.' From a business perspective Sue... yes Pledging for Change is a good space to be in. I think there will be a massive shift on here... in alignment with the changes we are all going through.
Karen...when you read this (which I know you will)... things are coming your way and you will find the support that you need. I just know that more business will associate with you because you welcome them with open arms and do everything possible to help. Your mission and values will become clearer. I look forward to the day you achieve that million faces for change. I think you will all achieve more. I look forward to the day you buy that first acre of rainforest. I look forward to the day that you give a hand up to that first sustainable business and that their story is the start of many more to come.

I am talking from a business perspective.
So as far as I can gather from all of this, is that we are about to enter a new level of conscious awareness and that the whole world will be a beautiful world of "giving giving giving". It's a new awareness of the needs of others and the "I" and the "Me" take a whole new meaning.
Business will become the "we" as they integrate and share mission and values as we have never seen them before. Wealth will be evenly distributed as the "Me" becomes the "Us".
We will no longer think about "What's in it for me?" but "What's in it for us" as a new world of love caring and sharing.
This massive econonomic downturn is going to be the best thing that ever happened to us. People will not be complacent and demand a JOB as their right. A Job that pays the bills so they can come home tired in the evening and sit and flick the tv on. A job that keeps them in their place so that the big fat cats at the top can use the money to buy fancy cars and luxurious globetrotting on a truly selfish and damaging scale.

People will see that will have to create thier own reality and learn new skills again to survive. They will turn thier gardens to feed thier families and they will create things to generate an income.New cottage industries will (already have) evolve and people will only "frequent" those who are giving back to the planet. Lessons will have been learned. The young and our elderly will become our own responsibility. Home education,caring for our elders in our own homes. There really isn't enough money in any pot to sustain what we have today.

If business is to survive it will only by the "spirit of harmony with our planet" ( my plug for Pledging for Change ...and thankyou Karen)
And yes we have already entered the phase of non-profit organisations, Community Interest Companies and so on.

If this is creating our own reality......

On a note for Pledging for Change... I have never yet seen a network where giving back to the community is so evident. Spiritually.... it works for me! And for business... you all have so much opportunity on here... with free promotions,the abilty to generate an income to make sure your business can go from strength to strength, and still knowing that thats its all given bak to help more and more sustainable business. And one day one of those sustainable business that is supported for new growth could become your best ally.
This new level of consciousness is about becoming more aware of what is really happening. We have no choice but to TAKE YOUR EYES OFF OURSELF and see the bigger picture.
The world is OUR oyster..... as long as we live in harmony with it and share in it's abundance of love,positive energy,spiritual understanding....caring,sharing. GIVE AND WE SHALL ALL RECIEVE.

Wow,

This guy believes exactly the same thing as one of my favourite lecturers, the late Ian Lungold, an expert on the Mayan Calendar & the Mayan civilisation. Back in 2000 he predicted the financial collapse, and stated that 2012 would be the final step in evoluton of consciousness on this planet. He stated that this could be the ability to create our own reality.

There are loads of Internet sites like Pledging for Change, all connecting globally. There is also an increase in interest in the paranormal, ancient civilisations, afterlife, spiritual, UFO's, & Crop Circle sites. We are at last beginning to realise that we, as a species, have been going down the wrong path, and that it cannot continue. We are beginning to travel to a more spiritual path, and connect more with each other. We perhaps may begin to see that governments, religious institutions, & financial institutions have failed us misreably. The time is ripe for change. There may be very dark days ahead, but the potential for the spiritual development of our species could offer us a very enlightened and golden era.
