I love that this site is attracting interesting, talented, caring people -- I do believe we are making a difference and will grow in size and strength as more people find out about PfC.

Thanks for following me on Twitter.

Welcome to the Share Program, Abhijit! It's a great way to help others while fulfilling our own dreams too, isn't it?

You're invited to join our Share Program Members group here on PfC. It's a resource with lots of tips for building your Share Program network. And please let me know if I can help you with that too.

I'll be following you on Twitter in just a few minutes!

Hi Jeff

How horrifying to find what humans can do to humans, and specially to innocent children. This is the world we live in and call ourselves higher beings than the species we have named animals.

Thanks for this. It's such an eye opener. It will be very useful if you can contribute something to the child abuse article. In fact within our limited means we are trying to create as much awareness as possible. Hope it leads somewhere.

Best regards

Abhijit

Hi Abhijit, I was going to comment on the Copperwiki section but couldn't join it. It was about the section on child abuse. Our focus in recent times,as a social enterprise, is the institutional abuse of children and the disabled in particular in Eastern Europe.

The upshot of this is that children are effectively farmed in many instances as a kind of cash crop and the greatest obstacle in raising awareness of it seems to be the difficulty that NGOs face when dealing with authorities. Often it's a case of being coopted into silence in order to be allowed to continue their efforts.

Hence, this article entitled Death Camps for Children, to emphasise how serious neglect can be, reveals how disturbing it can be.

Hi Abhijit

Have you considered starting a CopperWiki authors and contributors group on here so we can all join and ask ask ask lots of questions and get lots of tips and support from each other about going over and contributng to the best wiki of all time?

Wouldn't it be nice if members sent us a link to their article on CopperWiki?

This could be a fantastic group and like all things once the seed is sown...............

Hi Abhijit

I've just started a new category in the forums "Making changes by unity" and I'm just wondering if you would like to go along and start the first thread. I believe that Copperwiki is a superb platform for contributing to and is exactly the type of thing that "making changes by unity" is about.

Hi Abhijit

A very big warm welcome to the network and I say this on behalf of all the wonderful members on here.

It's early days yet but things are getting quite exciting with my plans here quietly in the background and as long as everybody remains positive and acting upon their pledges for change ( as Sarah has already mentioned) I know we can all lead by example and make this world a better place.

I'm so looking forward to working with you in the very near future but for now just enjoy the network and get to know your way around. I'm busy busy with the accompanying website and all that jazz but I will certainly be visiting on a regular basis.

You will definitely make some lovely aquaintances on here and I know they will love Copperwiki
