You bet this is absolutely fantastic thing to be doing Eric
It's got to be everyones dream to do something so fantastic to help others. Whether that be to help animals or people it sure beats going into a just over broke job and relying on a wage just to survive. Whether we downshift or find another way to let money flow is our personal choice. Today there are so many ways to make money flow into the hands of the right people.
I never ever do the lottery...why wait for chance? And it is wrong that people become milionaires without even having learned lessons along the way. And it is doubtful that they enjoy the real moments and the meaning of giving and recieving.
We will see the dreams come true http://www.pledgingforchange.com/group/advocatesforchange. One by one each will tell a success story.
And one by one each of the charities here will understand that they can create the income they need by spreading a vision and not (as you mentioned Pamela ) by begging and waiting for donations to come their way.

I know the work is fantastic and what a privilige to be part of those dogs lives on their new journey of hope and love.
I wouldn't mind betting that one day we will see a dream for one of our "Share Program" members "Advocates for Change" to do something just like this instead of beating a trail to work every day.
