Giving a "Hand Up" for a Sustainable Future!
Please be aware that our grants are not a cash hand-out. Pledging for Change aims to give "a hand up" and grants will be provided to pay for the very best in professional services to help your non-profit organization or sustainable business to succeed, to overcome any difficulties which are eminent and to be the very best and self-sustaining for many years to come
If you or your company or organization would like to contribute to our "Grants" you can either make a donation,(see right of network for donation button) or invest in one of our Channels and Share in our Revenue at the same time by recommending our channels and share program onto others
Pledging for Change is committed to serving our member community of charities,non-profit organizations,ethical businesses and new start-up social enterpriseor sustainable business and 100% of our profits will be reserved in a fund for our Hand -Up Grants
The Grants Grants will me made available in the following categories
- Crisis Grants for Charities and Non-profit Organizations
- Life-Line grants for organizations facing imminent closure
- Grants for new Start-Up Social Enterprise or Sustainable Business ..helping them to get off to to a great start with full support and ensuring they are on the right track with sustainable practices.
- Development Grants for Ethical Business for full social sustainabity responsiblity (CSR) feasabilty studies and support
It is expected that any organizations applying for any of out Grants is already an active member of our "Share Program" and raising ongoing earnings by adding the promotional banners provided onto their websites.
Who can apply for a"Crisis Grant"?
A "Crisis Grant" can be awarded to any Charity or Non-profit organization which is suddenly affected or unable to continue it's work due to unforseen events such as:
- building damages (which were not insurable or cannnot be replaced quickly by insurance)
- sudden equipment failure ( which were not insurable or cannot be replaced quickly by insurance)
- seasonal emergencies (often in the case for unwanted animals at Xmas time)
- Loss of key personnel due to accident or injury
- Need for emergency supplies due to sudden increase in demand for services
Who can apply for a Life-Line Grant?
Life-line grants are for organizations who are facing imminent closure due to lack of funds. In general an organization in this position will need full support with a feasability study and the possible award of immediate emergency funds, followed up with support for managing and marketing iniatives
Lifeline-Line Grants may be awarded for:
- The provision of professional assistance to overview and support the organization during it's time of crisis and to conduct a project viability assessment
- subject to positive outcome for viability an immediate cash fund may be made available to "rescue" the organization
- Provision of professional support for ongoing managing and marketing purposes
Any new Start-Up social-enterprise who already has a sound business plan or idea and has not managed to obtain funding from elsewhere can apply for a grant for:
- Full CSR implementation ensuring that all practices are sustainable and helping your new organization to work "In the Spirit of Harmony with Our Planet"
- Full Branding and Marketing iniatives training and support
- Support for sustainable business planning with "Mission Zero" concept
- Full initial "green" website development and hosting for the first 6 months
Who can apply for a grant for CSR implementation.
Any exisitng "Ethical Business" can apply for a grant for professional services
- enabling feasability studies
- full corportate social responsibility implementation
- and follow up support
Remember:
Any person or organization applying for a grant from Pledging for Change must be a "Share Program" member and actively trying to raise ongoing funds for their organization in the first instance.
Please note: it is anticipated that any of our grants will not be made available until at least the end of SEPT 2010
