The Don Bliss Foundation and Current Projects
Don Bliss Foundation is a Christian non-profit making organization founded with the main aim of setting up a rescue and rehabilitation centre with an education fund for the Orphans and less fortunate children, a rehabilitation facility for the rescued destitute families, an entrepreneurship centre for self sustenance and a spiritual home for an all round person
The organization was founded in the year 2003 as a community based organization and later registered with the registrar of societies in 2007. During this period, we have organized annual football competitions aimed at trapping the youth for rehabilitation, funding for needy students, we have arranged for placement opportunities as well as sharing the word of God with the less fortunate members of our society.
Our Vision
To uplift the living standards of the orphans in the society through provision of basic education, vocational and entrepreneurship training as well as spiritual nourishment.
Our Mission
To promote self reliance among the orphans through participatory training and development projects that encourages future self sustainability and ensures a worthy lifestyle for all in the society.
DEDICATION
This project is dedicated to Don Bliss, in loving memory of the exemplary life he led and the love that he showed to and shared with others.

Current Projects
* Supporting education programs for orphans and other deserving cases. This is being done through donation of clothing, books, food and provision of shelter.
* We have also raised funds for needy cases in high school.
* We are sponsoring an annual football tournament for the youth to keep them occupied during their free / leisure time.
* We are taking care of a widow and her seven children in our farm where she is encouraged to grow crops for subsistence.
* We run mid-week prayer sessions on Thursdays, Evangelism Lessons on Saturdays and Bible studies lessons on Sundays followed by the regular Sunday worship services to ensure spiritual knowledge takes centre stage in the lives of members of the society.
