As a very young child I experienced a profound send of being unloved. The adults around me were deeply wounded and severely lacking any ability to express love.
Spirit reached out to me at 13 and showed me the truth of the power of love; that God is love, and there is NO lack of love - in spite of all evidence to the contrary. Love simply is; as is the air we breathe. Everything that exists is evidence of God's Love in action.
Compassion is the ability to express and practice God's Love even when we cannot easily comprehend the love that is in a particular person or situation.
It starts with ourselves.

Survivors of all kind of horrendous experiences like war, natural disasters, child maltreatment, and rape all have one thing in common. They struggle to regain their footing in life and live beyond what occurred to them. At the Life Beyond Trauma Conference we provide a new way to experience life, to heal, to join with others in healing, and to experience themselves and the people in their lives in a a way that allows them to live beyond their past.
