Nice to see so many changes

I know Mum is working hard at getting things up and running and she is always happy to help someone else before herself! Good old Mum (less of the old I think eh?). Nevertheless I… Continue

Oh, so what do I start with this blog?

Is it only just me or are some other people facing the same dilemma? Many a time, a lot of things happen to me or to others or to events that make for a good blog entry. At that instant, I'll just think to myself; how great to it would be to have a blog and write about these. And yet, when I finally get to the blog site, I kind of lose that flair and wit with which I want to convey the message. The result is that I just leave the blog empty. Does this happen to you? For example, something inc… Continue

In giving we receive!

I was just thinking about what it's really like when we are faced with the idea of inviting new friends and colleagues to the network. One thing that immediately came to my mind was that sometimes we may think "oh dear if I invite all of my clients from my mailing list then I just might lose them to someone else" or " I don't think for a moment that any of my clients would be interested in networking.....after all it's only for businesses" Well in respect of the first thought abo… Continue

Tiny Tickers: fundraisers wanted

Hi everyone, The Tiny Tickers charity is concerned with improving the detection, care and treatment of congenital heart disease before birth. It's just teething challenges

As you may or may not have noticed "Pledging for Change" is going through what I can only describe as early teething challenges. I've got lots to learn, and now and then this lovely place has a mind of it's own it seems. I have taken approximately four ( and I'm talking quite flat out here) weeks to upload all the pages to my website and boy what a task that was! Many thanks to Diane Stafford for helping me with a couple of challenges. A sense of Self

I choose this title because in my work I meet too many clients who want: " to be myself". Interestingly they have no idea of who they really are, besides sombody else's opinion, or what - as they state - "society is expecting of you". As a Wellness Coach I encourage, and guide my clients - to step out of the box ( their mental/emotional comfort zone), take stock of who they are, and design their life, based on their talents, intelligence, strengths, and goals. In general people do not have a qua… Continue
